Wow, that was a trip of a lifetime as you said! We had a fantastic time. Thank you so much for all that you did to make everything perfect, can't wait for you to plan the next trip. We may be going to a garden party at the palace in July! We also want to go to Spain next. All of the hotels were superb! The Lanesborough was unbelievable John had a great time playing with all of the automated gadgets. And he had a great time playing at St. Andrews. He already want to go back and stay at the resort there. Well we will have tons of pictures to show you sometime and the driver was the nicest man you could have ever imagined. We definitely want him if we ever go anywhere in the U.K. again. The tour guide was fantastic too! He took lots of pictures too that he will be sending on a disc.

We would like to thank you for yet another well planned trip. Everything was just perfect. No flight problems and the hotel was great. Enjoyed the pool every night!! Plus on Thursday & Friday the hotel had free margaritas All of us had a great time. We went to the Alamo, Riverwalk (every night), did the boat ride on the Riverwalk, the zoo, SeaWorld and mall. We loved San Antonio and would like to go back again because we didn’t get a chance to do everything we wanted to.

Congratulations to Design Travel for enticing Ruth Wood to join your staff. Ruth has been taking care of all our travel needs, personal and business, for years in Fort Smith. I wouldn't consider anyone else. Ruth has a "Can Do" attitude that is second to none. Whatever your travel needs, Ruth will make it happen. I got a call late Wednesday afternoon that my grandson had been born in Connecticut several days early. I called Ruth at Design Travel at 4:00 pm. Within the hour, I had flight reservations leaving the next morning from Fort Smith. She also remembered to reserve a rental car. Ruth loves a challenge, and has always come through for us.

I got your letter advising that all of the major airlines have cut commissions paid to travel agents to zero and, as a result, your agency will now have to charge fees. While I regret this development, I understand your agency had no choice once the airlines cut your compensation to zero. Don’t worry about me. I’m not about to deal directly with the airlines when purchasing tickets. If I did, most of the time I would end up in the wrong city at the wrong time and at a higher price. I’m sticking with you and your agency. You’ve done a great job for me over the years. My best to you.
