Sahara Hoskins
 Sahara
graduated from the International Travel Institute in
1980 and later went to the American Airlines Travel
Academy before moving to Rogers to continue her travel
career and raise a family. She was born and raised
overseas and has been fulfilling her life long dream to
travel ever since. She loves to share her experiences
and hopes that from her knowledge she can help others in
planning their perfect trip. From graduation trips to
retirement trips there are many events in a persons life
that should be celebrated with “the perfect” getaway.
She loves planning girlfriend trips, honeymoons &
anniversaries and spa and adventure vacations. Her
favorite trips to plan are to Europe. Having traveled
there herself many times she can help you find the
perfect city or village to explore. She is excited to
help make your “vacation dreams” come true!

Peggy Jones
 Peggy has over 15 years of experience in the travel
industry. She specializes in customer service; whether
you are traveling with your family or for business, you
are important. Her areas of destination specialization
are Spain, Western Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and
the Caribbean, but she can assist with any destination.
Travel is her passion and she has traveled extensively
through out the world. Recently, she was selected to be
on the travel board for Bon Apetit Magazine. Combining
travel with food and wine is part of enjoying life and
living it to the fullest!

Ruth Wood
 Art,
architecture, history, music, dance, animals, and the
culinary arts are among Ruth’s passions. Adding travel
to this eclectic mix has evolved into a 23 year career
in this industry. She is a Certified Travel Counselor
and a Destination Specialist for the Caribbean. Ruth is
also a member of the first graduating class of the
College of Disney Knowledge. She has sailed on nine
cruises, and has had opportunities to travel to Africa,
Costa Rica, Australia, Mexico, Europe and other various
destinations.

Paty Birchfield
 Paty
has been an enthusiastic member of the Design Travel
team since 2000 wearing many hats – marketing,
administrative, receptionist , accounting – you name it.
She enjoys assisting others so their travel experience
is a relaxing one at Design Travel. Paty and her husband
spend their free time traveling to their favorite
destinations such as Mexico and Colorado. On weekends
you will find them entertaining their friends and
families.

Karen Walker
 Karen
returns to Design Travel with over 20 years of travel
expertise. She graduated from the American Airlines
Travel Academy in 1980. Her passion lies in helping
honeymooners start their lives together with that
“Perfect” destination.
She also enjoys arranging family and friends vacationing
together. Karen loves the Mayan Riviera and tries to go
twice yearly staying at new Resorts. This is very
helpful when it comes to fulfilling her client’s dreams.
She welcomes everyone to the world of travel! It can be
very therapeutic.

Julie Mitchell
 Julie
is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a
degree in Advertising/Public Relations. Julie has been
with Design Travel since 1989, and Manages Design
Travel. She has accumulated 23 years of experience in
the travel industry and is also a Certified Travel
Consultant. Her CTC degree prerequisites were five or
more years of industry experience and completion of five
part college level management courses emphasizing
marketing, personnel , selling and accounting. Julie has
also earned her destination specialist degree for the
Caribbean and Europe. She has completed specialized
courses for Switzerland, Ireland, and Australia and is
passionate about selling these destinations. Julie has
received recognitions and membership from the '40 under
40 organization and the National Association of
Professional Women. Julie loves a good challenge and
lives vicariously through her clients. Julie has
traveled extensively throughout the US, Mexico,
Caribbean, and Europe. She is passionate about service
before, during and after the sale.

Dee Dee Cullipher
 Dee Dee has worked for
over 25 years in the travel industry. She has a passion
for travel and can assist in leisure, corporate or group
travel. During her career she has traveled extensively
throughout the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and
Europe, visiting 28 countries. She has also had the
opportunity to cruise on several ships and is a
destination specialist to Scotland, Ireland, Tahiti, and
Cancun.

Janie Leis
 Janie
began her travel career in 1997. After completing four
years of cruise sales training and product instruction
she is now recognized as a Master Cruise Counselor. She
is also a Certified Travel Associate, a graduate of the
College of Disney Knowledge and has completed many other
destination and cruise courses. She has organized and
escorted groups within the US as well as to Europe and
the Caribbean. Whether you are a single traveler or a
large group Janie can organize the perfect cruise or
trip for you!

Thanks for the card and all
of your help. Cosmos was great! It was so relaxing to get
away for 16 days. I made several new friends from around
the world and got invited to India, Pennsylvania and New
York! Europe was in fall and is beautiful. The leaves had
just turned and the temperature was great. Our guide was
from Amsterdam and spoke seven languages! She was great!
